What better way to warm up on an Auckland winter night than by taking a trip through time with music at AceKaraoke! Our August event was held on August 10th and consisted of three fun hours of karoake, a delicious hot meal, and a drink for a reasonable price. The selection of food was wide and the portions generous! Beef kimchi on rice and stir fried noodles were well received. Drinks to recommend would be the green tea fusion fruit drinks. Refreshing and what you need to quench your thirst between songs.
Five members attended so there was plenty of time for all to sing their hearts out. Classics such as Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Disney, and Taylor Swift as well as more recent Tones & I, Ariana Grande were belted out. A nice mix of old and new Japanese songs as well as some Kpop were on the list. It was a lot of fun which unfortunately resulted in a lack of photos, but we look forward to seeing a big crowd attend next year’s karaoke event :)
